Visiting You Senior HomeCare is a Florida State licensed homecare provider. Owned and operated by Fort Walton Beach resident, Melinda Sousa.  Melinda has worked in the medical field for over 28 years.  Her husband Al, proudly served our beautiful country and retired from the U.S. Air Force in 2011.

Melinda and Al have experience living with and caring for our older generation.  Melinda is the granddaughter of a US Navy Chief who raised her from birth.  Soon after getting married the young couple took in her grandfather who was a widower.  He was a special part of their family for the first 11 years of their marriage until his passing.

"As a young couple, we  raised our family with Grandpa by our side. "Grandpa" times were precious.  He really was like an angel to us.  He held each one of my boys.  He was able to go to the senior center, go shopping, to church, give out candy on Halloween, play board games, watch sports, see movies and eat out on special occasions, and bake with my boys our family favorite...blueberry pie.
Grandpa and other seniors want to remain independent and stay in their homes or within their communities for as long as possible. Family's often do not know what to do. Whatever their needs are- having a loving, caring, and dedicated companion with them can make all the difference in the world.  With a little bit of help, most of them can stay home and live happily for a long time.”

Visiting You Senior HomeCare also has Albert Sousa IV who joined the team in April 2016. He brings with him his professional management skills to help with daily operations.  Our office staff work closely with our caregivers and clients to make the services we do go the extra mile.

We would like to share all that we have learned and be helpful within the community.   We bring with us our love and support as the family prepares for new decisions.
